FOUR SEASONS

I have decided to make it a tradition to draw a FOUR SEASONS piece every year. Last year, I did a faerie themed version of the four seasons [link] and for this year, I am doing an ART NOUVEAU inspired set.

I want to do this every year to see what new ideas I may have regarding the seasons and to also have something like a comparatative work where I can see how I've been progressing in my art.

Summer

I had the hardest time with this one. I couldn't decide on the colors well. I wanted to incorporate pinks, but couldn't blend it successfully with the oranges and yellows after like the nth time. Haha. What you see here is the best I did. To me, it looks exactly the way I want it to look like already, but I have some friends who say that the dress seems to have the same color/shade as the background, so it doesn't look too defined.

I say, you be the judge.
